Boot Break In

After achieving the perfect fit, employ these tips for breaking in your new boots.

  1. Condition: Apply a layer of natural leather conditioner to your new boots.
  2. Wait: Exercise patience; the greater your usage of your new boots, the greater the benefits.
  3. Wear: During the initial 6-8 wearings, aim for a minimum of 2-3 hours each time. Consistent wear allows your body’s heat and moisture to penetrate the boots, thus softening the leather. As time progresses, the leather heel, insole, and outsole gradually mold to the contours of your foot, resulting in a more pliable and comfortable fit.
Special Note Cowboy Boots are meant to be worn and used heavily. For the best fit they will not look brand new once molded to your foot.
